The Chelsfield Primary School breakfast club is open to all our school children from reception to year 6. The club is run by school staff.
Breakfast club menu:
Toast, Pancakes and crumpets with a variety of toppings including jam, butter, honey and marmite
A choice of cereals
A choice of fruits
Yogurts and milk
Board games, colouring in, games, Children’s TV programs offered on occasion to provide a home from home feel.
We aim to provide a high quality Breakfast Club which meets the needs of both parents and children. For parents, this means knowing that your child is safe and happy in a club that is reliable and offers a consistent service.
For a child this means an environment that is safe, supportive and encouraging. It is a place to be with friends and make new ones. To be able to try out new activities, to relax and have fun and enjoy.
The Breakfast Club runs from 8.00am to the beginning of school Monday to Friday during term time. The Club will not operate during the School inset days when the school is closed to pupils.
Please do not arrive before 8.00 am, as no child will be admitted to the Club before this time. No entry after 8.20am.
You will be asked to sign a register when delivering your child to the Breakfast Club and write in the time of arrival.
Children will be provided with a healthy breakfast choice of cereals, toast, crumpets, fruit, milk and water.
Entry to Chelsfield Primary School Breakfast Club
Places will be allocated on a first come basis with an initial maximum number of 20 per day. We are able to be flexible with regular and ADHOC attendance at the present time.
Once a registration form has been completed and returned to us your child will be registered to attend the Breakfast Club. To book sessions, please go to the school gateway app and select the sessions you wish to book.
You will then need to book your sessions via the school gateway each time you would like your child to attend. This must be done at least 24 hours in advance. You can pre book the full academic year in advance if required. Any children not booked for the session may be charged an emergency rate of £5 (£4 regular fee + £1 emergency fee) and entry is subject to availability on the day.
Payment of Fees
All fees must be paid for in advance via the School gateway.
The fees are £4.00 for the first child and £3.50 for siblings. FSM children are charged at £1 per child.
If parents do not wish their child to attend a session they must notify the Breakfast Club Supervisor as soon as possible via the school gateway, if you wish to receive a refund for a booking you no longer need you must cancel by 4pm the day before the booking.
Please note that fees will not be waived through absence i.e. holiday, non-attendance as a place would have been lost to that child booked in for the session.
